I’m beginning to see the light

Bon, on y arrive.

Season’s Finale

« And, for the first time in hundreds of years, the night came alive with the music of dragons. » Look’s who’s there! Despite Jorah shocked face at the end of Fire and Blood, the ending of the episode was probably the less surprising of the season. It certainely isn’t the shocker that Baelor was. That’s interesting in itself: of course, the dragons are cute, but wouldn’t it have been more intense to keep the dramatic apex for the finale? Continuer la lecture

Of War and whores

As I was saying yesterday, there’s been quite a bit of change to Tyrion’s story during Sunday’s episode, Baelor. Subtle as they may seem, the changes have the potential to have some repercussion in the comping episode (writing « episode » without a plural makes me feel terribly sad).
Getting back to the original text, we’ll try to see exactly what changes where made, and how it might affect Tyrion’s character, or his relations with the other characters.

Curse Baelor!

Hey everyone,
Due to technical issues, I’m not able to get proper images of yesterday’s (great great great) episode. Soooo… here’s a naked picture of Roz instead (I believe you’re not unfamiliar with that particular process).
That being said, there’s a lot of interesting stuff in this episode, to say the least, so let’s take a quick look at it to start the week! As usual, make sure you did watch the episode before reading! Continuer la lecture

The Theon issue

Looks familiar? Yeah. Probably because that is what Theon actually looked like in the last episodes. Allright, maybe compairing him to Calimero is a tad too much. But hardly. Non readers might not be familiar with the infamous House Greyjoy, from the Iron Islands, but… Continuer la lecture

About characters…

Most viewer might have forgotten this despicable face, by now. The smile of Theon… smug as a Lannister! Between all of his new scenes (and his brand new story arc with Roz) we haven’t seen this side of him a lot in the last episodes. Much like Jaime’s, his developement is much more important in the early episodes than it was in the books. The problem is that, unlike Jaime, Theon seems to be developing in a different way than he was in the books. In the coming articles, we’ll compare how the different characters developement are being handled, and how it changes (maybe even damages) the story. Continuer la lecture

Heatin’ up the crab

That’s one weird crow, to say the very least. The first episodes of the series persuaded most readers that Bran’s dreams (and therefore, our three-eyed friend as well) wouldn’t make it in the show. The last two episodes, however, proved this to be very, very wrong. As with many other aspects of the series, the show was just waiting the right time to show us the three eyed crow. Let’s see how the previous episodes managed to heat up the crab… Continuer la lecture
